Downtown Calistoga is also very walkable and perfect for a stroll with your family or group. The streets are lined with superb boutique tasting rooms, numerous eateries, and quaint shops to explore. When you’re ready to discover the outdoors, Calistoga is home to a petrified forest of redwoods that was once covered in lava over 3 million years ago. There are also unique hiking trails in this area, like Calistoga’s Palisade Trail.
